FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What to bring?

Like anywhere you go around the peninsula, you should have a jacket with you. The seating in the engine is outside with no shade structure and it can get windy.

  • Arrival:

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early in order to check-in, sign the waiver, and take a peek at the engine prior to your ride. Should you miss the departure, we will do everything we can to reschedule you, but will not provide any refunds.

  • Private Rides:

Yes, we do offer private rides for your friends, family, business, chess clubs, soccer league, beer-drinking buddies, or anybody in between. Please contact us to schedule.

  • Music:

We do play music throughout the ride so feel free to sing like no one is watching. Public rides will play music from our playlist, while private rides have the ability to play their own personal music from their phone.

  • Seat Belts:

Safety is our number one concern, therefore seat belts are required to be worn while the vehicle is in motion. No exceptions.

  • Children:

You must be 3 years or older in order to take a ride on the fire engine. All passengers must sit for the duration of the ride in their own seat, while fully fastened.

  • Refusal:

We do reserve the right to refuse service to any guests for any reason.

  • Gift a Ride

Gift certificates for a ride on the engine are the perfect gift for any occasion. Once gifted, the lucky recipient will be able to book their own ride at a time convenient to them on our website. It's a win, win. You're their favorite person and they get to ride in a fire engine!
